Seafood Stew

Ingredients

1 cup frozen crabmeat
1 cup shrimps, peeled and deveined
1/2 kg firm fish, cut into 1/2" pieces
2 carrots, sliced
3 tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped capsicum
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 green chillies, chopped
1 cup dry white wine
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp pepper powder
Salt as per taste
3 tbsp oil

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a skillet
  2. Put onion, capsicum, carrots, garlic and celery
  3. Cook till onions are transparent
  4. Add tomatoes and green chillies
  5. Stir well for 1 mins.
  6. Add white wine, chicken broth, salt, pepper
  7. Bring to boil
  8. Reduce flame, and let it simmer fro 10-15 mins, till vegetables are tender
  9. Add shrimp, fish and crabmeat
  10. Cook untill fish is opaque, occasionally stirring carefully, approx 5-7 mins.
  11. Put oregano and mix
  12. Serve hot
