Clear Soup

Ingredients

250 gms meat
1 onion chopped
4 cups boiling water
2 tsp butter
1 egg white
Salt as per taste

Method:

  1. Heat the butter in a pan
  2. Add onion till golden brown
  3. Add meat and fry till brown
  4. Add the boiling water and let the meat cook
  5. When cooked strain the soup; remove the fat completely by cooling and straining
  6. Boil the soup and add egg white slowly (pouring in a thin stream) to the soup continuously stirring
  7. Add salt
  8. Let it boil again for 2 minutes
  9. Strain the soup again
  10. Serve hot
