Garlic Soup

Ingredients

1/2 cup garlic cloves
1/2 cup chopped onion
Salt as per taste
Pepper as per taste
1/4 chopped parsley
4 cups chicken stock
1/4 grated cheese
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp plain flour
Method

  1. Peel and mice the garlic cloves
  2. Heat butter in a pan
  3. Saute onion and garlic till they are tender and light brown on slow flame
  4. Add flour and stir for another 3-4 minutes
  5. Add stock and bring to boil
  6. Add salt, pepper and parsley
  7. Let it simmer on slow flame for 25-30 minutes
  8. Pour soup in serving bowls
  9. Garnish with grated cheese and serve
