Soups and Stews
Shrimp Soup

Ingredients

2 cups shrimps
2 onion chopped
2 garlic flakes, grounded
1 tbsp tomato puree
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp oil
Salt as per taste
Black pepper powder as per taste

Method:

  1. Peel and de-vein the shrimps
  2. Heat the oil in a pan
  3. Add onion and fry till golden brown
  4. Add garlic paste and stir for 2 minutes
  5. Add shrimp and fry till pinkish
  6. Add turmeric powder, salt and pepper powder and tomato puree
  7. Add water 4 cups and let is cook for 45 minutes
  8. Add more water if required
  9. Serve hot
