2 cups Rice
1/2 kg Mutton -1/2 kg
2 tbsp Ghee -2 table spoons
2 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tsp Chili powder
1/2 tbsp Dhania powder
1 big Onion
2 Tomato
4 stems of Coriander
2 stems of Mint
Lemon juice, few drops
1 spoon Coconut paste
Cloves 2 + Elachi 2 + Cinnamon 2 -(powdered spices)Method
- Keep the pressure cooker on the stove.
- Put oil and ghee.
- Add chopped onion and garlic+ginger paste to it.
- When it gets fried well, add tomato and fry it in slim flame.
- Add chilli powder, dhania powder, salt and coconut paste.
- Then add mutton.
- Add water to it.
- For 2 cups of rice add 1and1/2 cup water.
- When mutton is cooked add rice, coriander, mint, powdered spices and lemon juice to it.
- When rice is cooked, turn off the stove.
- Serve the biryani with curd raita.
- For raita add chopped onion+chilli+coriander+mint+salt+few drops of lemon juice with curd.
