1/4 kg Prawns
1 cup Onion (finely chopped)
3/4 cup Tomato (finely chopped)
1 inch Ginger
7 Garlic cloves
3/4 tsp Turmeric powder
11/2 tsp Red chilli powder
3/4 tsp Anise seeds
Few curry leaves
4 tbsp Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
3 tsp Oil
Salt to tasteMethod:
- Clean the prawns.
- Grind the ginger, garlic and anise seeds into a fine paste.
- In a heavy bottomed kadai add the oil and heat it.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute.
- Then add the onion, tomato, chillipowder, turmeric powder and salt and fry it for 4 minutes.
- Add the prawns and cook till the prawns become tender.
- Then add curry and coriander leaves and fry it well.
