1/4 kg Mutton
1 cup Onion (finely chopped)
3/4 cup Tomato (finely chopped)
1 inch Ginger
7 Garlic cloves
3/4 tsp Turmeric powder
11/2 tsp Red chilli powder
3/4 tsp Anise seeds
Few curry leaves
4 tbsp Coriander leaves( finely chopped)
3 tsp Oil
Salt to tasteMethod
- Clean and cut the mutton into small pieces.
- Grind the ginger, garlic and anise seeds into a fine paste.
- Add the mutton, ginger-garlic paste, onion, tomato, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt in a pressure cooker.
- Pressure cook till mutton is tender.
- Heat oil in a kadai, pour in the meat and the gravy that is left.
- Add coriander leaves, curry leaves and fry on a low flame till it turns brown.
