Ingredients

  • 2 - packets ready-roll puff pastry
  • 4-5 - potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
  • 1/2 cup - Green peas
  • 1/2 cup - Corn
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped fine
  • 2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - turmeric, Garam Masala powder each
  • 1 - large onion, chopped fine
  • 1 tbsp - oil

How to Make Aalu Patties

  • To make potato masala, heat oil in a pan and splutter cumin seeds and add green chillies, spices and vegetables.
  • Keep aside to cool.
  • Cut the puff pastry into rectangles and stuff it with the potato masala.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes till they turn crispy.
  • Serve with tomato sauce.
