  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 2 inch piece - ginger, very finely chopped
  • 1 - green chilli, very finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp - grated Coconut
  • 1 tbsp - water
  • 3 tsp - yogurt
  • For seasoning: 2 tsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 4 - Curry leaves
  • How to Make Alle:

    1. Make a fine paste of grated coconut with 1 tbsp of water.
    2. In a pan, heat oil. Add very finely chopped ginger and green chilli and fry on medium to low heat until it is golden in colour and crisp. Keep it aside.
    3. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds to it. When they crackle, add jeera and curry leaves to it.
    4. Saute on low heat for 2 - 3 minutes until it is fragrant and crisp. Switch off the heat.
    5. Add grated coconut paste, fried ginger and green chilli and mix it together. Add 3 tsp of curd to it. Gently mix all the ingredients.
    6. Serve it with rice.
