This almond cake recipe is fluffy and soaked in brandy for a sweet and tangy baked dessert.


  • 200 g - flour/ Maida
  • 200 g - Sugar
  • 200 g - Butter
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 3 - eggs, beaten
  • 2 tsp - Almond essence
  • 3 tsp - Almond powder (badam powder)
  • 4 tsp - brandy
  • How to Make Almond Brandy Cake:

    1. Cream the butter, sugar well.
    2. Add the beaten eggs, almond powder and almond essence and mix well.
    3. Slowly add the flour and fold in well.
    4. If the mixture is too thick add a little milk.
    5. Pour into a greased and prepared baking tin or dish and bake in a moderate oven for about 40 to 45 minutes.
    6. Remove from the oven when done and set aside to cool.
