Ingredients

  • 200 g - flour/ maida
  • 200 g - sugar
  • 200 g - butter
  • 1/4 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • 3 - eggs, beaten
  • 2 tsp - almond essence
  • 3 tsp - almond powder (badam powder)
  • 4 tsp - brandy

How to Make Almond Brandy Cake

  • Cream the butter, sugar well.
  • Add the beaten eggs, almond powder and almond essence and mix well.
  • Slowly add the flour and fold in well.
  • If the mixture is too thick add a little milk.
  • Pour into a greased and prepared baking tin or dish and bake in a moderate oven for about 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven when done and set aside to cool.
