  • 2 - medium potatoes, chopped
  • 3 - large karelas, chopped
  • 4 - Onions
  • 3 - Green chillies
  • 4 tsp - refined oil
  • 1/4 tsp - Aamchur powder
  • Garam Masala
  • Cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Aloo Karela Subzi:

    1. Take oil in kadai. When it gets heated, add cumin seeds and chopped karelas, potatoes, onions and green chillies.
    2. Cover and cook this mixture on low flame. Keep stirring every 3 to 4 minutes.
    3. When the karelas start getting golden brown, add salt as per taste to the mixture and again cover the kadai.
    4. After 2 to 3 minutes, add garam masala and amchur powder.
    5. Serve with chapattis or parathas.
