Ingredients

  • 4 - Capsicums
  • 500g - Potatoes
  • 3 - Tomatoes
  • 3 - Onions
  • 4 - Green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seed powder
  • 2 tbsp - raw peanuts, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • How to Make Aloo Mirchi:

    1. Halve the capsicums and remove the pith and seeds.
    2. Boil the potatoes, peel and mash.
    3. Chop tomatoes and slice the onions.
    4. Heat the ghee in a pan and fry onions till translucent.
    5. Add tomatoes and peanuts, and fry for a minute.
    6. Now add green chillies, cumin seed powder and salt to taste and cook for a couple of minutes.
    7. Add the potatoes and fry for a minutes.
    8. Now add garam masala. Mix well.
    9. Cool and stuff into the capsicums.
    10. Put in grill for 15 minutes, or bake in a hot oven.
