  • 250 g - Aloo (potato) cut in square pieces
  • 100 g - moong dal
  • 2 - medium tomato, cut in medium pieces
  • 50 g - Green chilli
  • 20 g - black pepper
  • 2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • Salt as per taste
  • 10 g - red pepper
  • 1 tsp - ground Dhania powder
  • 1 tsp - Aamchur powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Jeera

How to Make Aloo Moong Dal Karara Wala

  • Boil moong dal with a little water. After the first whistle, cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and put potatoes in it. Fry for 1 minute.
  • Now, put dhania powder, garam masala, black pepper, salt, red pepper into it and fry covered, for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Put oil in second frying pan and put jeera into. Once it turns brown, add dhania powder to it.
  • Put moong dal in it and fry. Now put amchur powder and fry for 5 minutes till dal is dry.
  • Mix in the tomato pieces and add to the potatoes. Heat through and serve.
