Ingredients

  • 2 bunches - Spinach
  • 1 large - Onion
  • 1 large - Tomato
  • 4 - Medium cloves of Garlic
  • 1 inch - Ginger piece
  • 1-2 - Green Chillies
  • 1 - MediumSize Potato
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Chilli powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp - Coriander Cumin Seed powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 2 - Small cardamoms
  • 2 tbsp - Oil

How to Make Aloo Palak Masala

  • Wash spinach well and pressure cook it.
  • When cool, blend in the mixie/ blender to make a paste.
  • Chop the onion and keep aside.
  • Grind tomato, cardamom, ginger, garlic and green chilli to a paste.
  • Boil the potato and dice it.
  • Heat oil, add onions and fry till golden brown.
  • Add the tomato puree and cook till oil separates.
  • Add the spinach puree, diced potatoes, and all the remaining masalas and cover it and simmer on medium flame till oil floats on top.
