Ingredients

  • 2 bunches - Spinach
  • 1 large - Onion
  • 1 large - Tomato
  • 4 - Medium Cloves of Garlic
  • 1 inch - Ginger piece
  • 1-2 - Green chillies
  • 1 - MediumSize Potato
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Chilli powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tsp - Coriander Cumin seed powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 2 - Small Cardamoms
  • 2 tbsp - Oil
  • How to Make Aloo Palak Masala:

    1. Wash spinach well and pressure cook it.
    2. When cool, blend in the mixie/ blender to make a paste.
    3. Chop the onion and keep aside.
    4. Grind tomato, cardamom, ginger, garlic and green chilli to a paste.
    5. Boil the potato and dice it.
    6. Heat oil, add onions and fry till golden brown.
    7. Add the tomato puree and cook till oil separates.
    8. Add the spinach puree, diced potatoes, and all the remaining masalas and cover it and simmer on medium flame till oil floats on top.
