Ingredients

  • 4 - big Alphonso mangoes
  • 1 kg - Sugar
  • 1/2 litre - water
  • 1 tbsp - Milk
  • How to Make Alphonso Mango Cooler:

    1. Chop the mangoes into pieces.
    2. Blend the mango pieces in a liquidiser without any water to make a pulp.
    3. Boil water with sugar in a heavy bottomed steel vessel.
    4. After a boil, add milk.
    5. Once the sugar dissolves completely, remove from heat.
    6. Cool completely.
    7. Add the mango pulp and mix well.
    8. Strain and fill into dry sterilised bottles and refrigerate.
    9. To serve:
    10. Pour approximately 3 to 4 tbsp mango pulp in a tall glass and add sufficient water and crushed ice.
    11. Mix well and serve chilled.
