Ingredients

  • 1 cup - basmati Rice
  • 1 cup - Pineapple (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - peas
  • 7 to 8 - Cashew nuts
  • 7 to 8 - Black Peppercorns
  • 1 or 2 - Cloves
  • 1 tbsp - Jeera (cumin seeds)
  • 1/2 tsp - Cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp - cooking oil
  • A pinch - Cinnamon powder
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Ananas (Pineapple) Pulao:

    1. Wash and soak the rice for 20 minutes.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and add jeera to it. When jeera splutters, add peas and pineapple to it.
    3. Saute, and then add the rice and the remaining ingredients to it - along with enough water.
    4. Cook it on low heat until done. Serve it hot.
