Ingredients

  • Collacasia- 1/4 kg
  • Black Pepper Powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder- 1/2tsp
  • Chaat Masala- 1/2 tsp
  • Amchur Powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder- 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sev/Omapodi- 1/4 cup
  • Oil to shallow fry
  • Coriander Leaves- to garnish
  • Lemon Juice-1/2 tsp

How to Make Arbhi Chaat

  • Pressure cook collacasia for 2 whistles.
  • Peel the skin and cut into small bite size pieces.
  • Add oil in a pan and shallow fry the collacasia pieces.
  • In a bowl, add chaat masala, amchur powder, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Mix well.
  • Add the collacasia pieces and toss well.
  • Add lemon juice , sev and coriander leaves and serve at once.
