Ingredients

  • Raw Rice - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 250 g
  • Milk - 1 liter
  • Elaichi (powdered) - 1 tsp

How to Make Ari Payasam

  • Boil the milk and keep aside 1/2 the boiled milk.
  • Clean the rice in fresh water.
  • Boil water, add the rice. Stir it.
  • Half cook the rice, then add the milk.
  • Keep stirring for 10 minutes continuously.
  • Add the sugar after 10 minutes and then bring it to a boil.
  • Pour the remaining reserved milk and stir for another 2 minutes.
  • Switch off the gas and then add the elaichi powder.
  • Serve hot.
