Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - Asparagus
  • 1 tsp - mustard
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - Urad Dal
  • 2-3 - Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 cup - Curd
  • salt to taste
  • How to Make Asparagus Raita:

    1. In a large skillet, heat a little oil.
    2. Add mustard, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, dried red chilli or red chilli powder, urad dal, and finely chopped garlic.
    3. Add asparagus (cut into 1 inch pieces) and fry until tender but not too soft.
    4. Turn off and allow it to cool a little.
    5. Add curds and salt to taste.
    6. Enjoy as a side dish.
