Ingredients

  • 1 cup - atta (wheat flour)
  • 3/4 cup- Jaggery
  • 3/4 cup - Ghee
  • 14 to 16 - finely sliced Almonds (for garnishing)
  • 2.5 cups - water

How to Make Atta Halwa

  • Lightly heat ghee in a heavy bottom vessel.
  • Add the wheat flour and saute the wheat flour till golden brown.
  • Gradually, add the jaggery and water, stirring continuously, so that no lumps are formed.
  • Cook till all the water has been absorbed.
  • Serve hot garnished with finely sliced almonds.
