3/4 cup - mashed
3/4 cup -
1 cup - flour
3 tbsp -
1.5 cup - bitter sweet chocolate
1/2 tsp - instant coffee granules
5 tbsp - hot water
1 tsp - vanilla extract
1/2 tsp - baking soda
1 tsp - baking powder
Salt - to taste
How to Make Avocado Brownies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Sieve all the dry ingredients.
In a microwaveable bowl, add chocolate chips and butter. Microwave till they are melted by stirring every 1 minute.
Add the coffee granules to the melted chocolate and mix.
In a bowl add sugar, mashed avocado, vanilla, melted chocolate mixture and hot water one by one.
Whisk the mixture till they are well blended.
Add the dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
Stir until well combined.
Don't over mix.
Pour the mixture in a 8x8 inch pan and even the surface.
Bake brownies for 25 minutes or till a toothpick inserted in the centre will come out either clean or with only a few crumbs clinging to it.
Leave the brownies in the pan until it is completely (this is a must) cooled.
You can refrigerate for an hour to get pretty squares.
