Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup - mashed Avocado
  • 3/4 cup - Sugar
  • 1 cup - flour
  • 3 tbsp - Butter
  • 1.5 cup - bitter sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 tsp - instant coffee granules
  • 5 tbsp - hot water
  • 1 tsp - vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp - baking soda
  • 1 tsp - baking powder
  • Salt - to taste

How to Make Avocado Brownies

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Sieve all the dry ingredients.
  • In a microwaveable bowl, add chocolate chips and butter. Microwave till they are melted by stirring every 1 minute.
  • Add the coffee granules to the melted chocolate and mix.
  • In a bowl add sugar, mashed avocado, vanilla, melted chocolate mixture and hot water one by one.
  • Whisk the mixture till they are well blended.
  • Add the dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
  • Stir until well combined.
  • Don't over mix.
  • Pour the mixture in a 8x8 inch pan and even the surface.
  • Bake brownies for 25 minutes or till a toothpick inserted in the centre will come out either clean or with only a few crumbs clinging to it.
  • Leave the brownies in the pan until it is completely (this is a must) cooled.
  • You can refrigerate for an hour to get pretty squares.
