How to Make Badaami Paneer

  • Marinate the paneer cubes with turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp chilli powder and salt. Keep aside for a while.
  • Grind all the ingredients into a fine paste and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and carefully toss the marinated paneer cubes for a minute or two.
  • Drain the paneer onto an absorbent paper. Reserve the remaining oil.
  • Heat the oil and saute the ground paste in it till the raw smell goes.
  • Add the remaining chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and tomato puree. Stir till the oil separates.
  • Add the fried paneer cubes, milk, salt and sugar and stir well. When thick, switch off the heat. Garnish and serve hot with any Indian bread.
