Ingredients

  • Besan or gram flour - 1 cup
  • Grated Coconut - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Finely crushed Almonds (Badam) - 1 cup
  • Ghee - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 3 cups
  • How to Make Badam Milk Burfi:

    1. In about 1/2 cup of ghee, slightly fry the besan till there's no raw smell.
    2. Add all the ingredients including the crushed badam and the leftover ghee.
    3. Keep stirring continuously over medium fire for about 20-25 minutes.
    4. Once the mixture starts leaving the sides and becomes difficult to stir, add some elaichi.
    5. Now immediately pour the mixture on to a greased plate and cut into pieces
    6. Decoration (Optional) : Decorate with pistachios/cashews nuts.
