Ingredients

  • 8 cups - Whole Milk
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 1/4 cup - Slivered Almonds
  • 1/4 cup - Slivered Pistachios
  • 10-12 pods -Cardamom (ground)
  • Few strands - Saffron.
  • How to Make Badam Pista Basundi:

    1. Heat milk in a saucepan, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking to the bottom.
    2. Let the milk to reduce to half, to nearly 4 cups.
    3. Now add the sugar and stir continuously over heat for 10 mins.
    4. Remove from heat and add the almonds, pistachios, cardamom and saffron.
    5. Serve warm or chilled.
