Ingredients

  • 1 cup - moong urad badi
  • 6 to 7 cups - Methi leaves
  • 2 cups - chopped Onions
  • 4 tsp - chopped Garlic
  • 4 to 6 tbsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - Jeera
  • 1/2 tsp - Haldi
  • salt to taste
  • Red Chilli powder to taste
  • How to Make Badi Methi:

    1. Deep fry badi in 2 tbsp oil.
    2. Now add chopped methi leaves.
    3. Add a little water.
    4. Cook till badi is completely soft.
    5. Now in another kadai take 2 tbsp oil. Heat it. Now add jeera.
    6. After spluttering, add onions.
    7. Fry till onion is brown.
    8. Now mix it with cooked methi badi.
    9. In another kadai take 1 tbsp oil and heat it.
    10. Now add chopped garlic and haldi and fry it till brown.
    11. Add this to the methi badi mixture. Now cook it for a few minutes.
    12. Serve it hot with chapatti, parantha, or dal chawal.
    13. Enjoy the recipe.
