Ingredients

  • Meat - 1 kg
  • 4 - potatoes, cubed
  • To slice:
  • 4 - medium chillies
  • 1-inch piece - Ginger
  • 5 flake - Garlic
  • 3 - medium Onions
  • To grind:
  • 10 - chillies
  • 1 piece - Turmeric
  • 2 tbsp - coriander
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seed
  • 10 - pepper Corns
  • Other ingredients:
  • 5 - Cloves
  • 1 piece - Cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp - Vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Bafat Meat Masala:

    1. Cut and wash meat.
    2. Grind the ingredients listed into a paste.
    3. Prepare the sliced masala.
    4. Mix meat, ground masala, cloves, cinnamon, salt and vinegar with 3 cups of water.
    5. Cook for one hour till the meat is tender.
    6. Add potatoes, with ghee, and the sliced masala and continue cooking till the potatoes are cooked.
