  • Banana (ripe) 3-4
  • Maida flour -2 cups (or as much needed)
  • Sugar (powdered)- 2 cups
  • Cooking Soda -1/2 pinch (optional)
  • Cardamoms- 1/2 tsp
  • How to Make Banana Jamun:

    1. Cut banana into small pieces and mash to make a paste.
    2. Mix banana, maida, sugar and soda well with a little water. Knead into a smooth dough.
    3. Make small round balls from the dough.
    4. Fry slowly in hot oil or ghee. Remove when it turns golden brown color.
    5. Soak these jamun in hot sugar syrup. Drain after 10 mins. Cool and serve. For Syrup: Add 2 cups sugar, 2 cups water. Boil for 10 minutes till it reaches 1 string consistency.
