  • 1 cup - rava
  • 2 - Banana
  • 1/2 cup - Coconut Milk
  • Jaggery as per taste
  • Cardamom powder
  • Ghee for frying
  • Optional: dry fruits (raisins and cashews)
  • How to Make Banana Thali:

    1. Heat some ghee in a pan and fry the rava on low flame until it turns slightly brown.
    2. Turn off the flame and keep the pan aside.
    3. Mix jaggery into the coconut milk and keep aside.
    4. Peel the bananas, cut them into small pieces and grind in a mixer.
    5. Put the pan with rava back on the flame and add the coconut milk-jaggery mixture.
    6. Add cardamom powder and the dry fruits. Mix well.
    7. Turn off the flame and transfer the rava mixture into a pot.
    8. Add the banana paste and keep the mixture aside for 2 hours.
    9. After 2 hours, place the pot into a pressure cooker and cook without pressure for half an hour.
    10. Serve hot or cold.
