  • 1 cup - rava
  • 2 - banana
  • 1/2 cup - coconut milk
  • jaggery as per taste
  • Cardamom powder
  • ghee for frying
  • Optional: dry fruits (raisins and cashews)

How to Make Banana Thali

  • Heat some ghee in a pan and fry the rava on low flame until it turns slightly brown.
  • Turn off the flame and keep the pan aside.
  • Mix jaggery into the coconut milk and keep aside.
  • Peel the bananas, cut them into small pieces and grind in a mixer.
  • Put the pan with rava back on the flame and add the coconut milk-jaggery mixture.
  • Add cardamom powder and the dry fruits. Mix well.
  • Turn off the flame and transfer the rava mixture into a pot.
  • Add the banana paste and keep the mixture aside for 2 hours.
  • After 2 hours, place the pot into a pressure cooker and cook without pressure for half an hour.
  • Serve hot or cold.
