  • 1 liter milk
  • 2 tbsp - yoghurt
  • 1/2 tsp - vanilla essence
  • 2 pears, peeled, chopped, sprinkled with lemon juice
  • 1 apple, peeled, chopped, sprinkled with lemon juice
  • Sugar to taste.

How to Make Barfila dahi falohwala salad

  • Heat milk and thicken till only 3/4th of its quantity is left. Cool. When lukewarm, add sugar, yoghurt and vanilla essence.
  • Arrange chopped fruit in a bowl and pour cooled yoghurt mixture over it. Leave to set in a warm place for 6 to 8 hours.
  • When set, chill till needed.
  • Serve very cold, with a sprinkling of finely crushed ice all over.
