Ingredients

  • 2 cups - beans, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 2 tbsp - Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp - coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - green chillies, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp - coconut, grated
  • 4 tbsp - oil
  • Oil for frying
  • How to Make Beans foogath with Tomato:

    1. Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds.
    2. When the seeds crackle, add the curry leaves and beans and stir fry for a minute.
    3. Now add the spices, green chillies and salt.
    4. Cover and cook till the beans are soft.
    5. Add the tomatoes and grated coconut to the beans. Saute for 5 mins.
    6. Remove from heat, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
