  • 250 g - beef
  • 1 tsp - vinegar
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp - oil/ghee/clarified butter (optional)
  • To be ground to paste:
  • 2 big -chopped onion
  • 2-3- cloves, garlic
  • 1 inch - piece ginger
  • 1 cup - chopped coriander leaves
  • 4-5 -green chillies

How to Make Beef Cooked in green masala

  • Grind the onion, garlic, ginger, coriander leaves and chillies together to form a fine paste.
  • Mix this paste with beef along with vinegar and salt. Keep aside for a couple of hours.
  • If using oil/ghee, heat it in a pan and gently add the beef into the oil, along with the marinade. Saute for a minute or two.
  • Cover and cook till the beef is done.
  • Once the beef is done, check if there's any liquid remaining.
  • If so, turn the heat to high and cook till the liquid is evaporated. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and finely sliced green chillies.
