Ingredients

  • 3 large -brinjal
  • 1 tbsp - onions
  • 1 tbsp - curd
  • 1 tbsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 1 pinch - cumin
  • 1 pinch -mustard
  • 1 tbsp - coriander
  • 1 tbsp - red chilli
  • 1 pinch - turmeric powder
  • 1 pinch - coriander powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 pinch - chat masala
  • 1 tbsp - tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 - tbsp oil

How to Make Beginners Baingan Bartha

  • Cut the brinjal into thin slices and roast.
  • Splutter mustard in oil and add cumin.
  • Add chopped onion and saute till brown
  • Add ginger, garlic, curd and stir.
  • Add dry masalas, salt and tomato ketchup and cook well
  • Add the roasted chopped brinjal and mix well
  • Cook for 2- 3 mins
  • Garnish with coriander.
