Ingredients

  • Petu of 1 Rohu fish
  • 1 - medium-sized aubergine
  • 1 - onion (chopped)
  • 8-10 - crushed garlic pods
  • green chillies, mustard oil and salt as required
  • 1 pinch - baking soda (optional)

How to Make Bengenar logot Maasor Petu

  • Heat oil and fry the onion until golden brown.
  • Cut the aubergine into small pieces. Add to the onion and fry until soft.
  • Add the fish petu, garlic, green chillies and salt and mix well. Cover with a lid.
  • After about 5 minutes, mix the baking soda. Cover and cook on low flame until done.
  • Serve with hot rice.
