Ingredients

  • 1 cup - besan powder
  • 1 cup - whole Milk
  • 1 cup - Ghee
  • 1 cup - grated Coconut (fresh of frozen)
  • 2-2.5 cups - Sugar
  • For Garnishing:
  • cashew
  • Sugar

How to Make Besan cake

  • Mix the besan powder and milk together without any lumps in a kadai.
  • Then add the ghee, sugar and coconut. Turn on the heat and saute.
  • Keep sauteing till bubbles start to form and the batter becomes thick and doesn't stick to the edges.
  • Pour it into a greased pan. Sprinkle sugar on top and place cashews.
  • Once it cools, you can slice them into squares.
