  • 1 cup - besan powder
  • 1 cup - whole Milk
  • 1 cup - Ghee
  • 1 cup - grated Coconut (fresh of frozen)
  • 2-2.5 cups - Sugar
  • For Garnishing:
  • cashew
  • Sugar
  • How to Make Besan cake:

    1. Mix the besan powder and milk together without any lumps in a kadai.
    2. Then add the ghee, sugar and coconut. Turn on the heat and saute.
    3. Keep sauteing till bubbles start to form and the batter becomes thick and doesn't stick to the edges.
    4. Pour it into a greased pan. Sprinkle sugar on top and place cashews.
    5. Once it cools, you can slice them into squares.
