How to Make Besan Puri

  • Take 1 cup of wheat flour. Add salt as per your requirement.
  • Add 2 tsp oil and enough water to make a dough as you make for chapattis and keep aside.
  • Take 1 cup of besan in a bowl. Add sesame, chilli powder, jeera, ajwain, salt, coriander leaves and yogurt.
  • Mix into a fine powder with very little water if required.
  • Make small balls of the wheat flour dough. Make them into a cup shape, stuff with the besan filling and seal them.
  • Roll them into puris.
  • Fry till brown in colour.
  • Serve with yogurt or pickle.
