Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tbsp - Maida
  • 2 tbsp - Onion paste.
  • 2 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste.
  • 2 tsp - Salt and Turmeric powder
  • 4-5 Bay Leaves
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon, Cloves and cardamom, ground together
  • 1 tsp - dhaniya powder
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 - big Potato, cut into pieces.
  • How to Make Bhapa Dimer Muthia:

    1. Beat the eggs with 1 tsp of onion, ginger and garlic paste.
    2. Put 1 tsp turmeric and bit salt. Mix all the things together with 1 tbsp maida.
    3. A pinch of soda bicarbonate can also be added in it for fluffiness.
    4. Add into a greased container and steam in a pressure cooker till done.
    5. Heat a kadai with oil and fry the potatoes pieces and keep it aside.
    6. After the eggs cool, cube it and fry it in oil till golden brown. Keep aside.
    7. Add the ground masala, the powders, bay leaves into the oil and if needed 1 tbsp tomato puree can be added.
    8. Fry till the oil leaves the masala.
    9. Put the potatoes and pour one glass of hot water in it.
    10. After the potatoes get boiled put the egg pieces in it.
    11. Put 1/2 cup of hot water as these pieces will absorb the water.
    12. Cook it in slow flame for 10 mins
    13. Simmer it for 2-3 minutes and serve hot with Rice or Roti.
