Ingredients

  • 2 tsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 cup - tender Cashew nuts
  • 2 - potatoes, cut into thin slices
  • 2 - green chillies, slit lengthwise
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 75 ml - water
  • How to Make Bibbe Upklari or Harvi Biyye Upkari:

    1. Wash tender cashew nuts and drain out the water thoroughly. Cut potatoes into thin slices.
    2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds to it. When they crackle, add jeera. Fry on low heat for 1 minute.
    3. Add tender cashew nuts, potato slices, slit green chillies, salt and 75 ml water to it. Mix all the ingredients well.
    4. Cover it with a tight lid and cook on medium to low heat for 15 - 20 minutes or until the water dries up.
    5. Serve it hot with rice.
