Ingredients

  • 4-5 Bitter gourd medium size
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chilli - 1 tsp
  • Peanuts - 1/2 glass
  • Coriander
  • Tamarind - 2, 3 pods (soaked and juice extracted)
  • Turmeric - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Garlic - 2, 3 pod
  • Ginger- 1/2 inch
  • Cumin seeds
  • Oil - 3 tsps
  • How to Make Bitter Gourd Sabzi:

    1. Slice the bitter gourd thinly. Add some lemon juice, salt, and turmeric, and keep aside for 15 mins
    2. Then fry some peanuts and grind in mixer with garlic, ginger and cumin seeds.
    3. Heat oil in a frying pan, add the bitter gourd along with salt, sugar, and tamarind water, and cook it on low heat for 20 mins
    4. Then add red chilli and the ground peanut mixture and coriander. Mix well, heat through and serve.
