Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups - quick oats
  • 1/2 cup - whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp - baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup - fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 cup - skimmed milk
  • 3 tbsp - apple sauce
  • 1/4 cup - brown sugar

How to Make Blueberry Oatmeal Squares

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Coat a baking pan with cooking spray.
  • Put all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix, until just combined.
  • Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre, comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes and cut into squares.
