How to Make Bread Potato Kofta Curry

  • Pressure cook potato. Peel and mash nicely.
  • Soak bread in a little water. Squeeze out water from the slices.
  • Then mix mashed potatoes and bread by adding salt, green chillies and chilli powder.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Make small balls from the prepared bread and mashed potato dough.
  • Flatten a little bit and fry till golden brown.
  • For curry:
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and fry till translucent.
  • Add ground masala and fry til oil separates.
  • Add yogurt and fry for a while.
  • Add chilli powder and turmeric powder fry for another minute. Then add tomatoes.
  • After a while, add about one cup of water and boil till the gravy becomes thick.
  • Add prepared koftas just before serving.
  • Garnish with finely cut coriander leaves.
