  • 4 - slices bread well buttered
  • 2 cups - Milk
  • 1/2 cup - Sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 6 - dessert spoonful drinking chocolate
  • 3 - drops vanilla essence

How to Make Bread Surprise

  • Cut the buttered bread slices into small cubes.
  • Grease a baking dish. Sprinkle drinking chocolate on the base.
  • Arrange a layer of bread cubes over this.
  • Sprinkle the rest of the drinking chocolate over this and repeat layers.
  • Beat eggs and sugar till light coloured. Then add vanilla essence. Pour this carefully over the bread.
  • Bake till nicely brown in a moderate hot oven.
