  • 1 - medium-sized brinjal, roasted on an open flame
  • 4 - medium-sized green chillies, minced
  • 1" piece - ginger, minced
  • 4 flakes - garlic, minced
  • 2 - medium-sized onions, minced
  • 1/2 - coconut, scraped
  • 1 tbsp - vinegar
  • 1 tsp - salt

How to Make Brinjal Chutney (Murmurai Vaingen)

  • Peel the skin of the roasted brinjal.
  • When it cools, mash the pulp.
  • Mix all the other ingredients with the brinjal pulp.
