Ingredients

  • 1 head - Broccoli
  • Green chillies to taste (finely chopped)
  • 1 small Onion (finely chopped)
  • Few Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp - Sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp - Sugar
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups - Wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - Besan
  • 1/2 tbsp - Whole Jeera
  • 2 tbsp - Yogurt
  • How to Make Broccoli Parathas:

    1. Wash and place chopped broccoli in a plastic bag. Put it in a microwave oven and cook for 5 minutes. Let it cool.
    2. Add all the other ingredients and knead a stiff dough using 1.5 tbsp. of oil as shortening.
    3. Roll out parathas (about 5-6" in diameter) and shallow fry them until golden on both sides.
    4. Serve hot with achaar, yogurt, or tomato ketchup.
