Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb -Brussels sprouts
  • 1/2 cup - Onions cut into rings
  • 1/2 tsp -chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • oil
  • 1 tsp -jeera

How to Make Brussels Sprouts

  • Wash and dry the sprouts. Slice them in four almost down to the bottom.
  • Mix salt, chilli powder, garam masala powder and fill inside each sprout.
  • Apply the remaining powder all over the outside of each sprout.
  • Microwave the sprouts for 10 mins till they are cooked well.
  • Heat some oil in a fry pan.
  • Fry the onion ring till they become crisp and golden brown and keep them aside.
  • In the remaining oil, add jeera and the cooked sprouts and cook for 2 mins.
  • Garnish the cooked sprouts with the onion ring before serving.
  • Serve hot with rice and chapattis.
