Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb -Brussels sprouts
  • 1/2 cup - Onions cut into rings
  • 1/2 tsp -chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • oil
  • 1 tsp -jeera
  • How to Make Brussels Sprouts:

    1. Wash and dry the sprouts. Slice them in four almost down to the bottom.
    2. Mix salt, chilli powder, garam masala powder and fill inside each sprout.
    3. Apply the remaining powder all over the outside of each sprout.
    4. Microwave the sprouts for 10 mins till they are cooked well.
    5. Heat some oil in a fry pan.
    6. Fry the onion ring till they become crisp and golden brown and keep them aside.
    7. In the remaining oil, add jeera and the cooked sprouts and cook for 2 mins.
    8. Garnish the cooked sprouts with the onion ring before serving.
    9. Serve hot with rice and chapattis.
