Ingredients

  • 4 - tortillas
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup - chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup - chopped Onion
  • For Burgers:
  • 1/2 kg - ground Chicken
  • 1 - onion, chopped finely
  • 1 - Garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 - capsicum, chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup - boiled peas
  • 1/2 cup - chopped carrots, boiled
  • 1 tbsp - Lemon juice
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped finely
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - chat masala
  • Salt as per taste
  • For salsa sauce or readymade
  • 3 - medium Tomatoes
  • 1 - minced Garlic Cloves
  • 2 tbsp - chopped Onion
  • 1/2 tsp - oil
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 - green chilli, chopped finely
  • 2 tsp - Lemon juice
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1/8 tsp - black pepper

How to Make Burgers in Tortillas

  • Blanch tomatoes and remove skin
  • Blend in processor.
  • Add the rest of ingredients in processor.
  • Blend till they are coarsely chopped.
  • Remove and keep aside.
  • Coarsely mash peas and carrots.
  • Mix all the burger ingredients well.
  • Make 4 patties of the mixture.
  • Grill the patties for 8-10 mins on each side.
  • When burgers are almost cooked, heat the tortilla (wrapped in aluminium foil) for 30 seconds.
  • Place burgers on the tortillas.
  • Pour some salsa sauce, chopped onion, tomatoes.
  • Wrap the tortilla around the filling.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve with shredded cabbage leaves
