Ingredients

  • 10 oz - buttercup (can use margerine)
  • 10 oz - castor Sugar
  • 10 oz - self raising flour
  • 1 level tbsp - Corn flour
  • 15 tsp - baking powder
  • 6 - eggs
  • 1 - Orange (extract the juice)
  • 1 tsp - Orange rinds
  • How to Make Buttercup Orange Cake:

    1. Beat the butter until white. Add the sugar gradually and beat until fluffy.
    2. Add the eggs one at a time and beat until very light.
    3. Fold in the dried ingredients, adding the juice and the rinds.
    4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking tin.
    5. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F and bake for 40-50 minutes.
