How to Make Button Mushroom Masala

  • Make a paste of ginger-garlic together.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan. Add mustard seeds. Let crackle.
  • Add onions. Saute till onions turn medium brown in colour.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste. Saute for a minute.
  • Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder. Saute for half a minute.
  • Add tomato puree. Saute for 2-3 mins.
  • Now put in the mushrooms. Mix well. Add half cup of water and salt. Cover with a lid for 10-12 mins. Stir in between.
  • Once the mushrooms are done, add vinegar and garam masala. Let it cook for 2 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
