  • 1 - medium Cabbage
  • 100 g - Peanuts
  • 4-5 - Green chillies
  • A sprig of Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp - oil
  • Urad Dal
  • Mustard Seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • How to Make Cabbage Salad:

    1. Grate cabbage or cut into very thin slivers.
    2. Keep aside.
    3. Roast peanuts for a few minutes; remove husk and grind coarsely.
    4. Chop chillies and coriander leaves finely.
    5. Add ground peanuts, chillies and coriander leaves to the cabbage. |Add a tsp of lemon juice.
    6. Splutter mustard seeds and fry urad dal in the oil and pour it over the salad.
    7. Add salt to taste.
    8. Mix well. Let this stay for about an hour before serving.
    9. Enjoy this salad with rotis or as a side dish with rice.
