Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp - coriander powder
  • 2 - tomatoes
  • 3 - green capsicum
  • 1 tbsp - sesame
  • 1 tbsp - jeera
  • 1 tbsp - mustard
  • 1 - onion
  • 8 tbsp - curd
  • 6 tbsp - peanut butter
  • 6 tbsp - dry coconut powder
  • 1 tsp - turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp - ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup - coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
  • 4 tbsp - peanut oil
  • 1/2 tbsp - tamarind pulp
  • 1 sprig - curry leaves
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp

How to Make Capsicum Bharta

  • Heat a frying pan and pour peanut oil
  • Now add jeera, mustard, and curry leaves. Add chopped onions and fry till they get golden brown in colour.
  • Now add ginger and garlic paste, fry it for a minute, and add peanut butter paste.
  • Add capsicum and tomatoes and fry them on medium flame till they become dry.
  • Add turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder, tamarind pulp , sesame seeds, and dry coconut powder.
  • Heat it on medium flame for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Add curd, salt to taste, red chilli powder, and lime juice.
  • Heat on low flame for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
