Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 - carrots, grated
  • 0.25 cup - crushed peanuts
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped (for tempering)
  • Juice of one lemon
  • mustard seeds and curry leaves (for tempering)
  • sugar and salt to taste

How to Make Carrot Peanut Salad

  • Put the grated carrots in a bowl. Add crushed peanuts to it and mix well.
  • Temper (tadka) the mustard seeds, curry leaves and chopped chillies and add them to the mixture.
  • Add sugar, salt and lemon juice to taste and mix well.
  • Refrigerate the salad for about 10 minutes and serve.
