  • 3 to 4 - carrots, grated
  • 0.25 cup - crushed Peanuts
  • 3 - green chillies, chopped (for tempering)
  • Juice of one Lemon
  • Mustard Seeds and Curry leaves (for tempering)
  • Sugar and salt to taste
  • How to Make Carrot Peanut Salad:

    1. Put the grated carrots in a bowl. Add crushed peanuts to it and mix well.
    2. Temper (tadka) the mustard seeds, curry leaves and chopped chillies and add them to the mixture.
    3. Add sugar, salt and lemon juice to taste and mix well.
    4. Refrigerate the salad for about 10 minutes and serve.
